This is a complete waste of wall space that could have been used for something far more difficult to create than two shades and one color of random, smeared, dripping paint. There are real artists out there who actually work hard to create actual art, yet people fall for this scam. This isn’t subjective, it is just dripping, smeared paint. It’s just a mess. There are some very basic objective standards to art, and this flies in the face of them.
How much money was wasted on this? And of course, the “artist” is considered to be brilliant for thinking it up. He’s actually brilliant for getting paid for something this simple and unoriginal. He looked around his room, saw a dust pan, and that was it. It is an insult to real artists and people who work real jobs that don’t get paid for doing something this thoughtless.
