New Set of Books

I gave up on this set of books, as it was too expensive. They aren’t available in actual, complete sets very often. A complete set consists of four extra books on the Mediterranean theatre, that are even more difficult to find separately, and even less cost-effective to do so. However, someone put this set up for far less, and I was able to get it!

As what happens with some sets of books, the original “complete” set was later given more volumes, making an actual complete set more rare. I’ve faced this before. And a lot of these posted online are sold in pieces, making the entire endeavor even more expensive.

This is a set of re-prints of books published just after the war, and some into the 1960s.

A New CD Shelf!

This shelf you see here? That entire area used to have the cds stacked… fifty inches high. So, if I needed a disc from the lower half, it was a chore to get at it! So, I was out back one day and saw this in the storage shed! I didn’t remember it from anything, it was Dads’ shelf, and he never though much about it either. He’d picked it up for six bucks!

The problem now is that I need another one to go right next to it. I’m not picky about the price as much since space is so precious and this shelf is so perfect!

Currently I’m going through a long-term re-organization of the library, so this is a huge help.

I do owe Dad six bucks though.
