I made room on my premier bookshelf for my most precious cobra, that my brother bought me in Mexico in 1978. It should have been on this shelf many years ago!

A family photo from 1906. My grandma, who passed away in 1983, in front-center, born in 1888.
My great-great-step- grandfather died after a hit-and-run in Minnesota.
Helen, my grandma’s sister (on the right), died as a young woman from a doctor’s mistake.

1979 • I was fortunate to have a big brother that did cool stuff like this.

I had previously scanned these photos in 1996, not long after I first owned a scanner. The quality and size of the scans wasn’t very good. Still new to scanners back then.
It took me a while to locate the originals, but I did a re-scan of them, and touched them up.

They don’t make slides like this anymore. Look how concerned my mom is that I might get hurt on it!

My Aunt Ida, Grandma and Grandpa Rydberg, my Dad, and Uncle Ronnie (on bike).
